The Extra Heavy Duty Recycling Bin is engineered for strength, durability, and sustainability in the most demanding public environments. Constructed from all-steel extra heavy-duty welded construction, this recycling receptacle is built to last in parks, campuses, business districts, and municipal spaces. The body features flat steel slats (3/8” x 1”) with ¾” spacing for a structured, classic look. Weighing approximately 160 pounds and measuring 39” tall with a 28 ½” top ring diameter, it provides reliable long-term performance.
The 16-gauge galvanneal spun steel top features a centered funnel design that directs recyclables efficiently while blocking up to 60% of precipitation. Reinforced with two heavy stainless steel cable anchors, the top ensures security and durability. Each unit comes with a 36-gallon heavy-duty rotary molded polyethylene liner with cut-in hand grips and optional drain holes, plus an anchor kit for installation.
To promote proper sorting, this recycling bin includes 18-gauge laser-cut stainless steel recycle plaques, available with text options including Cans/Bottles, Paper, Plastic, Trash, Compost, Landfill, Recyclables, or the Recycle Mobius symbol.
Finished with our Zinc Advantage paint system, featuring a zinc-rich primer and TGIC polyester powder coat, this receptacle resists rust, corrosion, and fading. Proudly manufactured in Indiana, it’s the perfect choice for sustainable, heavy-duty recycling.
