The Buddy Bench is considered a “Friendship Bench” that helps children socialize and provides an area that children can go to if they are feeling lonely or left out on the playground. Our all-steel 8 foot Buddy Bench gives you a choice of a diamond pattern expanded metal or a perforated pattern seat design with kid friendly lettering laser cut into the backrest.

The seats and back are fabricated with a 11 gauge die formed angle frame 1” x 1-7/8” with 3” radius corners. The expanded metal seats are fabricated from ¾” #9 expanded metal and the perforated seats are fabricated from12-gauge plate steel with precision punched every 1-1/8” with ¼” diameter holes. The seats and back are coated with oven fused polyethylene copolymer-based thermoplastic finish and the frame is electrostatically powder coated, oven cured.

The frame is 2-3/8” O.D. x 12-gauge pre-galvanized steel tubing and the tube ends are pre-galvanized steel capped. The portable bench has a 1” O.D. 16-gauge pre-galvanized cross brace. The seat/back support is bent over a mandrel through the bend radius producing a wrinkle free bend.
